Adoption Application

All interested adopters must complete the following application. The questions that we ask and the procedures that we go through are solely to place the dog into the best home possible, and to protect the dog and his future family. We do check vet and landlord references.

Please don’t feel that our questions are meant to be an intrusion of your privacy. We are simply trying to determine that the match between a pet and your family is correct and that you will responsibly make the commitment to this animal that no one else has. These animals have had many transitions and uncertainties in their short lives. With a thorough screening process we hope to ensure you will be their forever home.
Once we have accepted an application, you must meet the dog. It is essential that ALL members of the family (including any other dogs) make the visit.

NNEDR charges a standard adoption fee of $300.00. This fee covers the veterinary expenses for the dog. This fee can vary from dog to dog depending on those expenses.
We base all adoption decisions on the home we feel will be best suited for each specific dog.
